Image Comics Presents Exciting Lineup For Fall 2015

Image Comics, home to many popular series, has given a sneak peek of six comics to be released in Fall 2015. From newspaper girls, to witches and superheroes, it looks like an exciting lineup that will not disappoint.

September:

PLUTONA

Plutona – Story by Jeff Lemire, Emi Lenox, Art by Emi Lenox

This comic follows the story of five suburban kids who discover the body of the world’s greatest super hero, Plutona, laying dead in the woods. This series will focus on  a dark and heartbreaking journey about friendship and coming of age.

October:

Paper Girls – Story by Brian K. Vaughan, Art by Cliff Chiang

Writer of  the well-known comic Saga teams up with artist Cliff Chiang in his new series about four 12-year-oldnewspaper delivery girls. This supernatural mystery adventure set in the 80’s will follow the girls as they experience something extraordinary in their every day lives.

Black Magick – Story by Greg Rucka, Art by Nichola Scott

Black Magick is a brand new supernatural series about a homicide-and-robbery detective named Rowan Black who also happens to be a witch. In the first issue an ongoing investigation of a crime will bring Rowan’s two worlds into direct conflict.

Pretty_Deadly

Pretty Deadly – Story by Kelly Sue DeConnick, Emma Ríos

This fall DeConnick & Ríos will make a comeback with the second arc of the Western fantasy series. Whereas the first arc focuses on  the origin of Death’s daughter, the second part focuses on a little girl  named Sissy. She and a band of reapers, is tasked with gathering souls whose time has come, or come and passed.

November:

the goddamned

The Goddamned – Story by Jason Aaron, Art by R.M. Guéra

This new ongoing series takes place in the world before the Biblical flood that the famed Noah escaped. The Goddamned is set in the world of the Book of Genesis where there is corruption and out of control violence.The main character of the ­comic’s first arc mirrors Cain, who was known for killing his brother.

Huck – Story by Mark Millar, Art by Rafael Albuquerque

The story of Huck stars a small town super hero who uses his special abilities to do a good deed each day.  In return, his neighbors return the favors by keeping his abilities a secret. But when a newcomer alerts the media about Huck, it sends everything into a frenzy sending Huck on an adventure that will change his life.
